It will be mandatory for all the enrolled candidates to follow the course curriculum guidelines completely, failing which either their candidature may be cancelled or they will be not allowed to appear in the exit exam. The decision by DAACI governing body will be final and binding to all in this regard.

Attendance at the PCS is mandatory for appearing in the final exit exam. If due to certain circumstances, any candidate is unable to attend any PCS, then he/she is supposed to attend the same PCS with the next batch to be eligible for appearing in the final exit exam (next year after completion of all the PCS).

Yes. Attendance at both Personal Contact Sessions (PCS) is mandatory for all participants enrolled in the 12-month Diploma in Allergy, Asthma & Clinical Immunology (DAACI) course.

The course includes two mandatory 3-day PCS programs:

  • First PCS: Conducted approximately 4–5 months after the commencement of the course.
  • Second PCS: Conducted at the conclusion of the batch.

To successfully complete the course and become eligible for certification, participants must:

  • Complete all prescribed online lectures.
  • Attend all mandatory Online Contact Sessions (OCS).
  • Successfully complete all Monthly Assessment Tests (MATs).
  • Attend both mandatory Personal Contact Sessions (PCS).

If a doctor is unable to attend a Personal Contact Session (PCS) with their enrolled batch:

  • The doctor must formally confirm their inability to attend the PCS by emailing contact@med-train.com.
  • The doctor may continue to access the course and is required to attend the Online Contact Sessions (OCS), complete the prescribed online lectures, and successfully complete the Monthly Assessment Tests (MATs), as applicable.
  • The doctor’s enrolment will be deferred to the next available batch.
  • No additional course fee will be charged for continuing the programme with the next batch.
  • To be eligible for certification, the doctor must attend both Personal Contact Sessions (PCS) and complete the required SPT assignment with the next available batch.
  • Attendance at both PCS is mandatory for successful completion of the programme and eligibility for certification.

As per the University guidelines:

  • A maximum of two examination attempts is permitted from the date of the doctor’s initial enrolment.
  • The examination attempt with the enrolled batch is included within these two permitted attempts.
  • If a doctor is unable to attend or appear for the Exit Examination with the enrolled batch and subsequently appears with a subsequent batch, an additional examination fee of ₹5,000 will be applicable.
  • The doctor must clear the Exit Examination within the two permitted attempts.
  • If the doctor does not complete or clear the examination within the permitted two attempts, they will be discontinued from the programme, and no further examination attempts will be permitted.

All sessions are planned as per the availability of faculties, teaching rooms, and other logistics. Once decided, PCS dates will NOT change due to any candidate’s personal request. Dates might change in a rare instance, depending upon the logistics for conducting the sessions. The decision by DAACI governing body will be final and binding to all in this regard. Exit exam will be conducted towards the end of the course. Minimum of 60% marks in both theory and practical will be required (independently) for passing the exit exam. Assignments will have predefined weightage in the final exam. The final exam will be evaluated by both Indian & International faculties.

If a candidate needs to appear for the exit exam in subsequent batch after enrollment due to any reason (including the inability to attend any PCS or clear the exit exam in scheduled time or others), he/she is supposed to submit the LATE EXIT EXAM FEE (5000/- INR for Indian Students and 100 USD for International Students).

There will be NO refund of any part of the fee after submission, even if the candidate chooses not to join the course or discontinue in between due to any reason. The fee will NOT be transferred to another candidates account if any candidate wishes to do so. In case of any unusual circumstance, the decision of the DAACI governing body will be final and binding to everyone.
